We may love our baseball players or we may dislike them intensely, but at the end of the day, nothing brings home the fact that they are just a commodity more sharply than baseball's annual winter meetings. The GMs present in Anaheim this coming weekend will all be busy trying to match their Christmas wish-lists with their available budget.
